Sugar Snaps Feeder (5ml)
A gravity-assisted liquid feeder that now arrives ready to use. Every feeder comes with a fine wire mesh and a pre-filled 5ml vial of Sugar Snaps, so there is nothing to prepare. Just screw the vial on and your ants can feed straight away. The flavour and colour of the included vial are chosen at random from our range, so it is pot luck which one you get.
 
The feeder works by holding the liquid in place under its own resistance, essentially upside down, so a controlled supply is always available at the access ports. The included wire mesh sits across those ports and is there for safety: with smaller species, ants can be drawn in as a drop forms or is taken, and the mesh lets them feed safely without the risk of being pulled in or drowning. For larger ants it can be left off if you prefer.
 
Designed and tested as a long-lasting feeding solution, it suits all colony sizes. Once the vial runs out, refill it or swap in any of our liquid feeds: Sugar Snaps, Snaps.Refined, or plain water.
