Terrarium Soil
 
Using the right substrate for your ants is key. 
 
This soil is ideal for making your own terrariums.  It has a well balanced mineral composite and a good peat content.  With the added cocofibre it makes for a safe andwell balanced soil.
 
Why not try adding some of our worm castings into the mixture too for a supercharged soil.
 
This soil is perfect for water retention and keeping your plants alive.
 
NOTE: structural applications where the colony can dig, ALWAYS make sure you keep it hydrated.

Layer 1 - Drainage Layer
Layer 2 - Mesh
Layer 3 - Activated Carbon
Layer 4 - Mesh
Layer 5 - Structural Soil (Compressed) (This makes up 2/3 of the soil section)
Layer 6 - Soil (if preferred, a decorative layer can also be used, made up of sand or desorative substrate)
