The V2 however provides a V2 modular port on the rear, this means as your colony grows you can link the Byd Bach directly into our V2 network of nests, outworlds and hubs.  Utilising your Byd Bach as a feeding station in the future.

All you actually need when purchasing a small colony is a place for them to explore and be fed without disturbing their test tube. The Byd Bach does exactly that. It provides a miniture outworld where your pets can explore and get food.
 
Typically your test tube will last to around 60+ workers (depending on species), at this point you can connect the Byd Bach to a bigger nest or outworld using the V2 port and the test tube port becomes redundant and can be used for round the clock access to a water tube.
