In the event that conditions cause a loss of your workers, it is vital to add some replacements to them as soon as possible. 
 
To use these workers, first keep them unheated at around 10 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add them gently to your existing colony and they should accept the new queen onfinding her.
