Fine Substrate | Outback
 
Using the right substrate for your ants is key.  This is optimum for safe tunnels with its high clay content. 
 
This substrate is perfect for both outworlds and / or sandwich nests where tunnels will be made.
 
We recommend using a drainage layer with this substrate.
 
NOTE: If using for sandwich nests or for structural applications where the colony can dig, ALWAYS make sure you keep it hydrated. Be Patient, on first hydration it will take hours to absorb.
