Odontoponera Denticulata – Advanced, Ponerinae (requires heat)
Denticulata are essentially the same as Transversa in care and behaviour but unline the reddish transversa, denticulata are black in colour.
They will need an outworld during founding (with a thin layer of substrate) and they require feeding. They are an incredibly aggressive species and their stings venom dissolves ligature tissue in their pray, immobilising it swiftly to be consumed.
They typically hunt for their prey alone or in pairs and given space this is a fun trait to observe in captivity.
